PT Royal Lestari Utama (Michelin Group)

PT Royal Lestari Utama (RLU), through its subsidiaries which engage in the integrated natural rubber sector, strives to become a pioneer and leader in sustainable natural rubber development in an area of around 90,00 hectares which located in Jambi and East Kalimantan.

The Company remains committed to maintain the growth of its subsidiaries’ businesses in developing and producing natural rubber which is supported by a sizeable land bank, while respecting and managing High Conservation Value (HCV) and High Carbon Stock (HCS) areas.

To this end, the Company has continuously strike a balance between growth and sustainability by focusing on four pillars; people, planet, product, and profit.

Our Milestones

2010

First planting of PT Lestari Asri Jaya, one of subsidiaries, Jambi.

2013

First Planting of PT Multi Kusuma Cemerlang, one of subsidiaries, East Kalimantan.

2015

The Barito Pacific Group and Michelin Group signed a Joint Venture Agreement to develop PT Royal Lestari Utama (RLU) with Vision to become pioneer in sustainable natural rubber development and production in the world.

2016

Dvelopment of PT Multi Kusuma Cemerlang, one of subsidiaries, first rubber remilling facility with total capacity of 140 tons/day in East Kalimantan.

2017

PT Multi Kusuma Cemerlang, the rubber remilling facility, start operation.
