KEY DETAILS OF THE ROLE

We are looking for a skilled WORDPRESS DEVELOPER responsible for front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely HTML5 and CSS3) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, color and font choices, and so on). The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. An understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment, is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Regularly launching NEW WordPress websites based on inputs and requirements from business owners
  • Helping to formulate effective, responsive designs which are also mobile ready
  • Designing and implementing new features and functionality for EXISTING WordPress websites.
  • Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture to ensure high performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
  • Collaborating with clients and the design team to understand website requirements and provide solutions.
  • Conducting website performance tests and monitoring/troubleshooting issues.
  • Ensure website performance, security, and scalability.
  • Regularly creating and updating content on our websites to improve SEO rankings

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer.
  • Ability to showcase of portfolio of websites
  • Advanced knowledge of WordPress themes and plugins
  • Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS to perform deep customization of layouts
  • Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.
  • Excellent understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment.
  • Familiarity with website hosting environments and knowledge of server-side operations. 
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
