About the role

As a Warehouse Manager (Frozen Food Product) at PT Samsung SDS Global SCL Indonesia, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company’s frozen food product warehouse in Subang, West Java. This is a contract role, with the opportunity to contribute to the strategic objectives of the organisation and make a significant impact on the company’s logistics and distribution capabilities.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage the effective and efficient operation of the warehouse, ensuring all frozen food products are stored, processed and distributed in accordance with relevant regulations and company policies

• Develop and implement warehouse management strategies to optimise space utilisation, inventory control and order fulfilment

• Oversee the receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping of frozen food products to meet customer demands

• Monitor and report on warehouse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions

• Manage and develop the warehouse team, providing training, mentoring and guidance to ensure high levels of productivity and customer service

• Ensure the warehouse operates in compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align warehouse operations with broader supply chain objectives

What we’re looking for

• Significant experience (5+ years) in a warehouse management role, preferably within the frozen food or logistics industry

• Strong understanding of warehouse management processes, including inventory control, order fulfilment and distribution

• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

• Proficient in using warehouse management systems and data analysis tools to drive operational improvements

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement

• Knowledge of relevant health, safety and environmental regulations in the warehousing and logistics industry

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
