As the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be accountable in ensuring the seamless day-to-day functioning of the company’s warehouse. This involves overseeing critical aspects such as inventory management, receiving, supply chain logistics, and fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.

We are currently representing a notable manufacturing company based in Batam, Indonesia.

Description

• Take charge of day-to-day warehouse operations, covering inventory management, receiving, supply to production, 5S implementation, and ensuring safety protocols.
• Ensure that all warehouse activities comply with health, safety, IATF 16949, and ISO14001 standards.
• Manage and lead a team of warehouse personnel. This includes responsibilities such as training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures aimed at enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular cycle counts based on ABC classification to enhance inventory accuracy and proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Monitor inventory levels closely, collaborating with relevant departments to address any irregularities.
• Provide regular, insightful reports on warehouse operations to the Supply Chain Manager and other stakeholders.
• Identify areas for improvement and devise strategies to optimize warehouse operations.
• Actively participate in routine meetings with senior management to discuss warehouse performance, goals, and strategies.

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in warehouse management, showcasing expertise in Inventory management, Internal & External Kanban, Kitting, Receiving, and effective Team management.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills are a must. Proven analytical, proactive, and initiative-driven behavior, coupled with robust problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, work effectively under pressure, and adeptly manage changing priorities.
• Familiarity with advanced warehouse management software and technology.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and adherence to warehouse operations best practices.
