About the Role
Reporting directly to our CEO and Founder, you will be expected to ramp up the B2B arm of the RevoU business in Indonesia. While we are mostly known for providing a world-class education to students who want to excel in today’s dynamic job market, behind the scenes we are actively facilitating our client’s recruitment processes and offer a range of B2B services & tools to our B2B partners as a key pillar of our business and our long term vision.
We are doubling down on building this B2B arm and are looking for an extraordinary individual with the ambition to make a lasting and sustainable difference in how people unlock their potential and how organizations can empower their people.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial builder who has a proven track record in fully running (or being part of the senior management of) a successful B2B organization and is ready to step up his/her game and do some of the best, most impactful, and most rewarding work of his/her life.
More specifically you will be expected to:
- Fully own and lead our BD team, who is responsible for the strategy and execution of our B2B operations and the demand side of our business, including:
- Strategic partnerships & business development
- Account management & client retention
- Go-to-market strategies for new products
- Launching new business units to generate revenue from the B2B channel
- Plan and manage budget, forecasting, and report B2B performance, maintain healthy sales pipeline.
- Quarterly and annual business planning.
- Directly develop and maintain senior executive relationships with our key accounts.
- Own and develop our government relationships.
- Own and further develop partnerships supporting the students’ enrolment side of the business (supply side) such as universities and offline partners.
- Capture industry trends and market needs and translate them into actionable insights for our Learning and Program teams.
- As part of our senior management team, be involved in all the most strategic discussions across the entire organization.
Requirements
What would the best profile look like:
- Leadership experience in running a B2B business (B2B for HR SaaS or other HR-related sales is considered a plus).
- Experience at running Business Development teams: Sales Development Representative, Account executive, and/or business development & partnership teams, with a proven track record of closing complex deals. Big plus if you have experience in running an entire cross-functional Business Unit.
- Proven track record in developing go-to-market strategy and execution: ability to deep dive to identify problems & propose solutions based on partner needs, broader market dynamics, and our internal existing processes. You will be expected to combine the highest strategic thinking with hands-on operational excellence (and expected to be very hands-on, especially in the beginning).
- Team management: ability to identify, excite, and bring on board top talent to join your team, combined with leadership skills allowing you to motivate your team towards star performance while keeping them happy and excited. Track record in building successful teams & business from an early stage is a big plus.
- Structured & Analytical, with the ability to keep the big picture in mind: being able to figure out what is important and optimize for it (80:20 rule). Backing up all choices when possible with data.
