Description

• Attract the most lucrative and prestigious events in line with the vision and strategy of the company
• Develop sales leads, driving new venue show rounds and new proposals
• Develop promotions or speciality packages to entice new customers
• Close contract negotiations and securing multi year deals, undertake effective negotiation to achieve the best commercial outcome
• Manage the repeat business process and continuity strategy, the negotiation of client contracts and secure onward bookings
• Communicate and interact effectively with decision makers at all levels internally and externally to maximise venue renting opportunities whilst increasing up selling of services, demonstrating exceptional customer care, and delivering an excellent customer experience
• Work with the marketing team to develop promotional materials
• Build database of qualified leads through referrals, direct mail, email, and networking

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in related fields
• At least 3 years experience with relevant responsibilities
• Able to form excellent working relationship with partners especially with event organisers, artists, and producers
• Good communication skills, problem-solving skills and can work under pressure
• Able to work both in a team and as an individual contributor
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Able to communicate in English both verbal and written
• An active listener, have a compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business
• Has excellent communication and negotiation skills and able to build rapport well and adapt solutions for different needs on behalf of clients
• Strong time management and planning skills Has the skills needed to build long-standing and successful relationships with key clients
