You will be part of the Strategy & Planning team, support Grab Indonesia’s West territory specifically for the Transport line of business — one of our biggest business contributors! We leverage data to uncover new insights and create demand-generating and supply-shaping strategy to best serve our consumers and partners. Our Strategy & Planning team is made up of Grabbers of several backgrounds, allowing us to have multiple perspectives towards business issues. Get to know the role

This role is responsible for supporting West territory’s decision-making by analyzing historical business performance, forecasting potential issues / challenges through data and proposing action steps accordingly. This role is also expected to collaborate with stakeholders both within and outside West Territory in order to implement the right strategy. We believe that a successful candidate has strong data analytics skills, and confidence to work with multiple stakeholders. If you believe you have what it takes then we’d love to hear from you!

The Day-to-Day Activities

• Generate business insights through data analysis, and provide recommendations to improve business performance accordingly
• Analyze consumers’ behaviors and identify angles that we can capitalize on
• Analyze our supply performance in the most granular way to ensure healthy fulfillment for our demand
• Support analytical needs from stakeholders (e.g. project evaluation & performance tracking)

The Must-Haves [Mandatory – To be filled out by HM]

• Bachelor’s degree on engineering, economy, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or other equivalent degrees / work experience
• Minimum 3 year of work experience in data analytics or business strategy
• Proficiency in SQL
• Logical and analytical thinking skills

The Nice-to-Haves [Not Mandatory – To be filled out by HM]

• Experienced in data analysis programming language (R or Python)
