## Translator & Communication Assistant

This pivotal role combines expert linguistic capabilities with crucial administrative and communicative support, acting as a vital bridge between our Chinese and Indonesian stakeholders. You will be instrumental in ensuring seamless, accurate, and culturally appropriate communication across all our interactions, contributing directly to our global success.
### Key Responsibilities:
* Professional Translation & Interpretation:
* Provide accurate and professional written translation of various business documents (e.g., reports, presentations, contracts, emails) between Chinese (Simplified/Traditional) and Indonesian.
* Facilitate real-time interpretation during internal and external meetings, negotiations, conference calls, and site visits, ensuring clear understanding for all parties.
* Cross-Cultural Communication Support:
* Draft, review, and edit business communications in both Chinese and Indonesian, ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and professional tone.
* Act as a cultural liaison, offering insights into Chinese and Indonesian business etiquette, customs, and communication styles to facilitate smoother interactions.
* Assist in preparing communication materials, presentations, and reports for diverse audiences.
* Administrative & Coordination Assistance:
* Support the coordination of international meetings, travel arrangements, and logistical planning for cross-border teams and visitors.
* Manage and organize translated documents, communication logs, and other relevant records efficiently.
* Provide general administrative support to the international business team as required, ensuring smooth daily operations.
* Relationship Building:
* Foster positive relationships with internal and external partners through effective and empathetic communication.
* Proactively identify and address potential communication gaps or cultural misunderstandings.
### Qualifications & Requirements:
* Education:
* Associate’s Degree or higher (Bachelor’s preferred) in any discipline. Degrees in Languages, International Trade, Management, or related fields are a strong advantage.
* Experience:
* Previous experience (1+ years) in translation, foreign trade, administrative support, or assistant roles is highly valued.
* Exceptional fresh graduates with relevant linguistic abilities, a proactive attitude, and a strong desire to learn are strongly encouraged to apply.
* Language Proficiency (Mandatory):
* Chinese (Mandarin): Native or near-native fluency (listening, speaking, reading, writing) with proven ability to conduct independent business communication effectively and professionally.
* Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia): Native or near-native fluency (listening, speaking, reading, writing) capable of performing high-quality professional translation and interpretation.
* English: Basic proficiency is preferred for internal communication and documentation.
* Skills & Attributes:
* Cross-Cultural Acumen: Demonstrated understanding of Chinese and Indonesian cultural nuances, business practices, and social etiquette, with excellent cross-cultural communication skills.
* Communication Excellence: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in all required languages, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities.
* Attention to Detail: Meticulous accuracy in all linguistic and administrative tasks, ensuring high-quality output.
* Proactive & Organized: Highly self-motivated, able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work both independently and as part of a team.
* Professionalism & Discretion: High degree of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
* Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with various communication and translation tools.
