We are currently seeking a Training Administrator on a permanent full-time basis to join our team, based in Balikpapan. Please note – we are only looking to consider candidates based in Balikpapan as we cannot relocate people for this role at this time. 

As a Training Administrator at Hexagon Mining, your role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of training programs by the Training & Consulting team. You will be instrumental in facilitating the development and enhancement of the skills and knowledge of our team members and clients, enabling them to be equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to better utilise of our cutting-edge technology.

Key responsibilities:

• Organise and schedule training sessions, ensuring they align with departmental needs and employee availability.
• Managing training calendars, booking venues or virtual platforms, and communicating training schedules effectively to participants.
• Providing comprehensive administrative support for training activities; maintaining training records, managing training materials and resources, and assisting with complex logistical arrangements, including travel, accommodation, permits, and site access, while considering factors such as distance, transportation options, and local regulations.
• Assisting with the evaluation of training effectiveness through various means such as surveys, feedback sessions, and assessments.
• Liaise with trainers, subject matter experts, and departmental managers to ensure training objectives are clearly understood and met.
• Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall effectiveness of our training programs.
•  Maintaining meticulous documentation standards, including certificates, training records, client onboarding requirements, and insurance documentation, to guarantee compliance and accuracy.
• Always represent Hexagon Mining in a helpful, professional, and courteous manner.

Ideal skills 

• Assists the team/manager in ensuring they have the information needed to support ongoing team processes.
• Sets up and provides detailed guidance on software, procedures, processes, tools and techniques for administration and workplace productivity.
• Liaises and organises across functions. Updates and maintains office policies and procedures.
• Deals with problems and issues, managing resolutions, corrective actions, lessons learned, and the collection and dissemination of relevant information.
• Facilitates a series of group activities or workshops in situations of complexity and ambiguity and competing stakeholder needs.
• Designs a structured sequence of meetings, events, or workshops to solve complex problems.
• Uses data to analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of learning/educational activities.
