PT. Medan Bioenergy Nusantara (MBN) is a rapidly expanding renewable commodities trader with a hyper-focus on direct origination of bio-feedstock material – primarily Used Cooking Oil and Palm Oil Mill Effluent for biodiesel production as well as Biodiesel itself.

We develop complex supply chains within challenging locations to source sustainable and renewable materials for biofuel production. We bulk, store, blend and deliver these volumes to our end clients with attentive care to quality and sustainability compliance.

We are looking for a Senior Trading Operator & Junior Trading Operator with details below;

Job Descriptions

• Coordinating logistic arrangement with transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
• Handling end to end export trading management
• Manage quality control with supply partners and staff to ensure quality & quantity
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, suppliers, inspectors, trade counterparties, brokers and ground staff to ensure smooth execution of cargo
• Arrange shipment schedules and documents
• Managing cost optimization through negotiation and cost structure of our trades
• Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
• Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
• Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in any majors
• Having 3 – 5 years of related industry experience
• Having an Export Shipping Management background would be prioritized
• Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication
• Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions
