Our company, Pacific Group of Companies Indonesia, is a business group from the Middle East engaged in the manufacturing of palm oil and its derivative products and exports all of these commodities from Indonesia to the Global Market.
We are looking for a qualified and highly motivated person with a high commitment to be placed in one of our companies in Medan – Sumatera Utara as a TRADER / SOURCING CPO.
Summary:
This position will be responsible in negotiating purchases and sales of Crude Palm Oil in the highly dynamic and challenging market to optimizing the demand of CPO of Pacific Group refinery.
Responsibilities:
- CPO Sourcing for Refinery from domestic sources (Sumatera and Kalimantan).
- CPO logistic coordination with a local logistic team of CPO purchase by land and sea contract
- Refinery export shipment coordination and planning with shipping team to ensure cargo shipment on time without delay.
- CPO sourcing report and outstanding report to ensure all CPO contract is on time for the delivery and payment.
- Maintain Good relationship with CPO supplier to secure quantity from competitor and try getting long term contract to ensuring refinery feedstock fulfilled as plan.
- Market analysis and market update.
- Work with the sustainability team to increase approved CPO supplier pool and grow our origination presence with a strong focus on sustainability and traceability to plantation.
- Looking for New/Prospect CPO Supplier for Spot Trading for better company Competitiveness in marketplace.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor degree in related discipline.
- Min 4-5 years of experience in CPO Sourcing and has clients database in Plantation.
- Understanding of Refinery processes and upstream activities.
- Willing to travel frequently
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Ms. Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Bahasa and in English.
- Preferably domicile in Medan area.
