Description

• Oversee the end-to-end processing of trade transactions, including import, export, and documentary credits.
• Ensure accuracy and timely execution of all trade-related activities.
• Ensure that all trade operations activities comply with local and international regulations, including AML, sanctions, and trade finance rules.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the bank’s interests.
• Continuously assess and improve trade operations processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk.
• Implement best practices and automation solutions to streamline workflows.
• Prepare regular reports on trade operations performance, key metrics, and trends for senior management.
• Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and clients to address trade-related inquiries and provide exceptional service.
• Build strong relationships with key clients to understand their trade needs and expectations.

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in trade operations or trade finance within a multinational bank
• Proven leadership experience, including managing and developing teams
• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, trade finance products, and industry best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and results-oriented environment
• Proficiency in trade finance software and systems
