About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tooling Assistant Technician to join our team at PT Dynacast Indonesia (Batam). This is a full-time position based in Batam City, Riau Islands. As a Tooling Assistant Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our tooling operations and ensuring the efficient functioning of our manufacturing processes.

What you’ll be doing

• Assist in the maintenance and repair of various tooling equipment, including molds, dies, and other specialized tools

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to keep tools in optimal working condition

• Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues related to tooling equipment

• Collaborate with the tooling team to ensure the seamless integration of tooling operations with manufacturing processes

• Maintain detailed records of tooling maintenance, repairs, and modifications

• Provide support to the production team as needed, ensuring the timely availability of required tools

• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Tooling Technician or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry

• Strong understanding of tool design, maintenance, and repair procedures

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics

• Ability to read and interpret caliper and micrometer measuring instruments

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional departments

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
