This Position reports to:
Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will lead the testing operations for medium-voltage switchgear in compliance with IEC 62271-200 standards. This role is critical in ensuring product quality, safety, and performance through rigorous testing procedures and team supervision. You have the opportunity to assist the local unit in developing the necessary capabilities to effectively control products and systems. Each day, you will ensure compliance with internal, customer, and industry requirements within a cost-effective and safe working environment. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the development and implementation of standards and test methods to ensure only compliant products, software, and services are released to the customer.

The work model for the role is: On-site Factory Tangerang Banten

This role is contributing to the Factory Operations Manager.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Lead the testing and quality control team to ensure compliance with IEC 62271-200 for medium-voltage switchgear.
• Conduct test protocols and lead the team to ensure that products and systems meet specified requirements and customer expectations. This includes incoming quality, in-process quality, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Relay Protection Systems Testing, and troubleshooting.
• Support quality control for supplier and production quality, testing, validation, and engineering activities within the local organization.
• Supervise and mentor technicians, monitor and report the progress, and provide insights to inform operational decision-making and resolve issues.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in switchgear testing or electrical equipment QC.
• Strong knowledge of IEC 62271-200 standard.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) for technical documentation and cross-functional communication.
• Experience in low voltage, medium voltage, high-voltage, and relay protection testing equipment and safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven leadership skills, with experience managing or supervising technical teams.
• Solid understanding of switchgear operation, including protection, control, and interlocking systems.
