Our facility in Batam, Indonesia specializes in the production of lighting and detection product technologies including our Specialty Lamps for industrial and photonics applications, IPL Lamps and Trigger Coils, as well as Infra-Red Detectors (IRD), Sensor Modules and Pyro-electric Ceramic Wafers. Operating since September 1994, this site is also responsible for manufacturing of our Thermopile Sensors (TPS), Thermopile modules (TPM), CCD Sensors and Printed Circuit Board Assemblies.
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technician to support our project engineering team in planning, executing, and troubleshooting machine improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop, and optimize test equipment and procedures for manufacturing processes.
-Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues with test equipment and improve product performance.
-Develop software for automating tests, collecting data, and generating reports.
-Ensure test equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and performs within required specifications.
-Continuously improve testing processes to reduce cycle times and down time.
-Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations in daily work activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Electronic/Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering.
-Proficiency in test programming and automation (e.g., C#, C++, SQL Database etc.).
-Knowledge of test equipment calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters).
-Strong experience in improving test processes and analyzing test data.
-Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
-Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
