Technical Support (Engineer)

Criteria: 

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree majoring in mechanical engineering (production or conversion)
• Has 2 years minimum experience in rotating maintenance, compressor, panel control, assembly, electrical and instrumentation for rotating and compressor engine
• Has good knowledge in rotating and static equipment (Gas Engine, Diesel Engine), ignition system, sequence system, major overhaul, rebuild, problem solver and repair.
• Has good knowledge in valve, control valve, pressure/temperature gauge, instrumentation equipment, regulator, and transducer.
• Familiar with working principle of all kinds of machines, compressors, pneumatic & hydrolic system, with their control system
• Able to operate and replace components in a safe way; identify the purpose of the component and auxiliary systems.
• Understand the basics of tools and mechanical equipment.
• Knowing the basics of mechanical theory, identify and understand the purpose and operation of mechanical equipment and tools.
• Able to identify and select appropriate codes of practice, standards, and government regulations.
• Able to read and work with documentation
• Able to read diagrams (P&ID), piping plans, isometrics, flow charts and able to extract information from technical drawings and specifications.
• Have good oral and written communication skills in Indonesian and English.
• Must have very good computer-based skills in MS Office.
• Familiar with ASME, ANSI, API, ASTM and other codes
• Accustomed to using MS Office, able to use AutoCad is a plus
• Can work as a team or individually

Job Description Technical Support staff: 

• Make a Bill of Materials (BOM) including terms and conditions for each product application held.
• Ensuring the specifications of the package offered are correct for the candidate machine to be installed in consultation with the direct supervisor and if necessary to the manufacturer with the approval of the superior.
• Schedule visits to consumers to ensure the unit is still functioning properly by coordinating with the marketing department for visit schedules and objectives
• Support programs from the principal for quality improvement and after sales support (for example: there are additional equipment/accessories that need to be tested on consumers)
• Make SOPs that can be used as templates so that they are easy to make or just modify as needed
• Make a list of company names and contact names that are usually contacted for each job that has been and is being done
