In this position, you will manage and develop long standing client relationships, with an intense focus on exceeding client expectations and driving service delivery. You will have a hands-on approach to service and deliver value through developing and managing technical projects to solve customer problems.

Job Description of Technical Specialist / ITC 

1. Responsible for supporting sales team of the resolution of technical/chemical treatment issues as they arise within SEA Market 
2. Responsible for reporting progress on chemical program risk identification, mitigation, and escalation through best practice assessment onsite with the sales team 
3. Conduct cold eye assessment for monitoring the treatment KPIs by sales team. 
4. Provide sound technical analysis of the chemistry, operational, mechanical (MOC) issues across both Water Treatment – including cooling water, boiler water and wastewater. This includes the provision of local knowledge of assets and operational performance capabilities to support the timely resolution of core or non-routine activities ie equipment inspection, passivation
5. Responsible for making technical improvement recommendations on operational, maintenance and chemical program to customers.
6. Work collaboratively with sales team solving the technical challenges by customers and to support to attain new sales opportunities.
7. Support the industrial technical consultant to conduct total plant audit to develop water recycling project opportunities.
8. Participate in out of hours, standby working or travel as required to support field technical works.
9. Escalate technical issues and ensure data capture on issues that are relevant to the development of chemical program, operational, maintenance and repair plans to direct manager. 

 Experience:

1. Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in water supply, wastewater treatment or environmental engineering
2. Required to have an in-depth knowledge of water treatment and/or the maintaining water treatment program. 
3. Local knowledge of assets and operational performance capabilities to support the
4. timely resolution of non-routine, specialized activities
5. Capable to work collaboratively across various function and achieve set objectives.
6. Effective communication skills, to engage with a broad range of internal stakeholders ie sales team
