Responsible for setup and installation of technical systems, applications, or process designs for client’s purchased or outsourced technology and business process solutions. Works directly with client to manage initial access, map and transfer data, create process documentation, and train or coordinate training for client users. Tests and troubleshoots functionality of installed systems; identifies and documents technical issues to be escalated to product and system integration teams for resolution. Provides feedback based on client experiences to product and professional services teams for product and process improvements. May work directly with clients on-site or provide installation support remotely.Working at NTT
The role of Technical Services Systems Integration Management has the primary responsibility of managing the activities and teams that define enterprise integration practices, standards, methods and protocols for digital platforms, applications, and services. This role supports programs from the early phases of project take on through integration and testing.
Key Role and Responsibilities:
Oversee, manage, co-ordinate, integrate and evaluate the activities of the function.
Manage the delivery of activities required to link together different computing systems and software applications physically or functionally to act as a coordinated whole.
Manage the amalgamation of discrete systems utilizing a variety of techniques such as computer networking, enterprise application integration, business process management or manual programming.
Supports programs from the early phases of project take on to integration and testing.
Participates in the formulation and execution of a TS systems integration strategy ensuring alignment to the overall business strategy and objectives.
Manage and improve the TS systems integration management function to increase service revenues and profitability in line with financial targets.
Manage the operational implementation of the strategic goals of the function by providing leadership to a team
Regularly review the operational plan and resources with respect to the current sales forecast and service contract volumes.
Support the definition of systems architectures for business opportunities during the project take on phase.
Design and develop integration plans and create links for multi-platform, multi-vendor business solutions.
Identify and develop technology related opportunities and integrate IT resources to fulfil project requirements.
Support the interpretation of customer requirements and reduce these into hardware and system requirements and specifications.
Identify and develop specifications, control documents, verification and validation plans, procedures, reports, or other documentation in support of design and development activities.
Gather project requirements and controls for platform and application integration
Manage the development of project metrics during the project planning phase and after initiation.
Prepare and maintain detailed project plans or schedules to manage and monitor the progress of the integration to ensure objectives are achieved within timelines and budget.
Identify and schedule resources required during the integration phase.
Take responsibility for budget tracking and cost benefit analysis.
Take accountability for the planning of and leverages various tools/methodologies for critical phases such as unit testing, data conversions and cutovers.
Assess and effectively manage all risks associated with the project integration and define and adhere to project governance, risk, project metrics and delivery frameworks.
Uses a clear understanding of the full scope of outsourced capacity and apply a risk management perspective to vendor management.
Contribute to the implementation of improvements focused on optimisations that will be valuable to the integration process and mitigate risk.
Collaborate with the TS Program /Project Manager to support execution and project implementation.
May act as the technical lead of the TS Implementation Engineers and the TS Program Manager’s technical liaison.
Analysis data and prepares reports and reviews and ensures the distribution and presentation of this information at the relevant forums.
Act as people managers to a team and ensures established performance goals are met, continuously drive for client satisfaction, monitoring the performance of the consultant experts, ensuring the completion of assignments.
Knowledge, skills and attributes:
Ability to compile technical specifications in a clear, concise, unambiguous manner
Broad understanding of architectural standards and systems engineering and integration practices
Ability to manage multiple suppliers and vendors, both internal and external, on the integration of diverse technologies
Ability to perform a substantial amount of diagnostic and troubleshooting work
Excellent research and synthesis skills
Knowledgeable in the design or build of customized architectures or applications
Ability to integrate it with new or existing hardware, packaged and custom software and communications infrastructure
Solid management and leadership ability
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of the Agile software delivery processes (SCRUM, Kanban preferable)
Decision making and influencing skills are necessary
Strong accounting or financial analysis skills
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in BEng or BSc or related
Relevant certifications and/or licenses
Experience required:
Solid experience in software engineering and controls engineering
Solid experience managing and supporting software applications
Solid experience providing IT consulting and/or implementation services to clients within a relevant industry
Experience in the development of integrated systems and participation in several integrated systems programs, providing leadership of a project team
Experience assigning, reviewing and monitoring the work of others (leadership and management

Experience on design for complex systems over on-premises and public cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure)
Experience on design for migration from legacy network (ex. P2P or MPLS) to the latest network (ex. SD-WAN or public cloud network)
CCNP/CCIE certification
