You’ll play a crucial role in making sure our customers get exactly what they need—whether it’s answering technical questions, running hands-on lab tests, or helping develop groundbreaking coating solutions.

Here’s what you’ll be getting involved in:

• Become an expert on allnex’s Additives portfolio (waterborne) —understanding how our products perform and where they shine in the latest coating applications.
• Partner with our Applications, Sales, Marketing, and R&D teams to provide top-notch technical support.
• Visit customers (when needed) to troubleshoot, solve problems, and make sure their needs are fully understood and met.
• Plan and execute lab tests to answer specific customer questions, collaborating with internal experts when needed.
• Help to shape technical value propositions and support product positioning that keeps us ahead in the market.
• Drive innovation by contributing to cross-functional project teams, ensuring our new product developments are aligned with customer and market needs.
• Maintain meticulous records and reports, turning your lab work into actionable insights.

We’re looking for someone who brings a mix of hands-on technical ability and customer-first thinking:

• 3-5 years of experience in coating formulation, paint technology or a similar technical role.
• Comfortable working in a laboratory environment, including formulation preparation, material characterization, and feasibility testing.
• Strong experimental planning, data analysis, and report writing skills.
• Excellent communication skills—able to clearly explain technical details to both internal teams and customers.
• A proactive problem solver who enjoys digging into challenges and delivering creative solutions.
• Fluent in both technical concepts and real-world customer needs.
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and growth within the coatings industry.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Scientific field—preferably with some knowledge of polymer chemistry. Equivalent technical experience is also welcome!
