TAX & ACCOUNTING MANAGER

We are seeking a Tax & Accounting Manager for the Manufacturing industry in Solo, Karanganyar. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage Accounting Team to execute finance activities (Tax, Fixed Assets, Banking, Petty Cash, AR, AP, Payroll)
• Manage vendor payments and keeping track of all payments and expenditures
• Manage invoicing and AR collection
• Manage employee income tax and tax payments
• Social insurance (BPJS-TK & BPJS-K) administration
• Ensuring adherence with accounting and tax principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
• Together with the team to ensure a clean and timely month end closing and year-end audit
• Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements and reports in compliance with local and international standards
• Manage and coordinate tax planning, compliance, and reporting activities to optimize tax efficiency and minimize liabilities
• Ensure proper tax reconciliation and tax reporting
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure financial processes and controls are robust and adhere to company policies
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to support financial and tax-related decision-making
• Monitor and implement changes in accounting regulations and tax laws, ensuring timely updates to practices and procedures
• Prepare financial and tax reports to management and providing insights and recommendations
• Oversee capital expenditure and write off procedure to ensure it is within Group guidelines
• Manage Fixed assets data (Incoming, outgoing, disposal, import taxes)
• Supervise and mentoring accounting team, ensuring effective performance and professional development
   

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Tax and Accounting, 5 years in managerial position, with a strong background in financial reporting and tax compliance
• Experience in the apparel or footwear industry would be an advantage
• Previous experience working in a multinational company or within an audit firm is highly advantageous
• Proven track record of managing financial reporting processes and tax strategies
• Strong knowledge of local and international accounting standards and accounting principal
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations, tax compliance, tax reconciliation and tax filing
• Preferably Having Tax Brevet A&B
• Detailed oriented, hands-on attitude and able to work as a team
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Fluent in English both speaking and writing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
