Job description

Position Overview: The Talent Acquisition & HRIS (Human Resource Information System) Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the recruitment process and managing the HRIS system. This role combines human resources strategy with data-driven insights to ensure that the organization attracts, hires, and retains top talent while maintaining the integrity and efficiency of HR systems. The individual in this position will collaborate closely with the HR team and other departments to ensure HR processes are effective, efficient, and aligned with company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:

Recruitment Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various roles across the organization.
  • Partner with department leaders to understand hiring needs and define job requirements.
  • Monitor industry trends to keep recruitment efforts current and effective.

Talent Sourcing & Candidate Pool Development:

  • Oversee the sourcing of candidates through job boards, recruitment agencies, social media, and other channels.
  • Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for future hiring needs.

Candidate Screening & Interviews:

  • Lead the interview process, ensuring fairness, efficiency, and adherence to company policies.
  • Evaluate candidates based on qualifications, cultural fit, and alignment with organizational needs.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Onboarding & Employee Integration:

  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth transition and positive experience.
  • Collaborate with other HR team members to ensure new hires receive the necessary training and resources.

HRIS Management:

System Administration:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the HRIS platform, ensuring data accuracy and system reliability.
  • Work with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure smooth integration and functionality of the HRIS.

Data Integrity & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards.
  • Generate HR reports (e.g., turnover rates, recruitment metrics, employee performance) to provide insights for decision-making.
  • Monitor HRIS data trends and recommend improvements.

System Upgrades & Troubleshooting:

  • Work with HRIS vendors and IT teams to implement system updates, troubleshoot issues, and resolve any challenges that arise.
  • Train HR staff on how to use the HRIS system effectively.

Compliance & Security:

  • Ensure that the HRIS complies with data privacy laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits of HRIS data and security protocols to ensure compliance.

Leadership & Team Management:

Supervision & Team Development:

  • Supervise a team of HR professionals involved in recruiting and HRIS management.
  • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members to ensure high performance and professional development.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Finance, IT) to align recruitment strategies and HRIS functionality with organizational goals.
  • Support management and senior leadership with HR-related projects and strategic initiatives.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes and HRIS workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in talent acquisition and HR technology.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, HRIS management, or HR operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, etc.) and data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes, candidate sourcing, and interviewing best practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRIS software.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
