About the Role

The System Integration Specialist will contribute to the architecture, design, development, and maintenance of the company integrated systems ensuring alignment with the overall enterprise architecture framework and that all the company applications and systems operate smoothly across the business. Working collaboratively with software engineers, IT support team, and other business leaders, the role will lead in the development of the enterprise architecture framework and systems integration projects.

The position will provide specialist technical expertise in the design, development, and maintenance of a System Integration platform for connecting applications, data and equipment, in a complex financial services environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure that operational requirements, design specifications and business processes are clearly outlined and understood through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Analyse technical requirements and identify technical solutions in consultation with the software engineers and business leaders considering all databases, application, business process and system implications.
  • Ensure that the solution design meets the business and technical requirements and that it is understood by the technical development and test teams.
  • Provide recommendations on new or enhanced systems, upgrades, and modifications.
  • Promote the solution options available to support efficient processes, business decision making, data analytics, and management reporting.
  • Complete traceability and/or data mapping matrixes as part of solution design alignment with business requirements and other IT delivery teams, as required.
  • Ensuring infrastructure and associated applications meet service levels as agreed with senior management.
  • Collaborate with third parties and vendors to deliver integrated system solutions.
  • Solving complex application and system integration scenarios with external providers and suppliers.
  • Ensure the upkeep and enhancement of all IT hardware and software maintenance and upgrades, outstanding issue resolution, network stability and security, and ad hoc IT projects.
  • Regularly conduct and drive continuous improvement activities, recommending, and implementing opportunities for simplification, streamlining of administrative processes and systems, efficiencies, and cost optimisation.

Essential Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with people across all levels.
  • Degree in IT, software engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years’ experience of conducting systems analysis and integration on multiple complex tasks.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with system integration tools including experience of system administration, development with Middleware platforms (e.g. SAP Process Orchestration, Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, etc or other similar system integration toolkits), API-led web services (e.g. REST API, SOAP, JSON, and XML), BPM and SQL Queries.
  • Strong experience in enterprise integration solutions and implementing application and system integration projects.
  • Detailed knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles, data access and security protocols.
  • Demonstrated high level skills as a systems analyst working on complex software applications.

Desirable Experience and Skills

  • Experience in banking and financial services industry highly regarded.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced and medium enterprise environment highly regarded.
