In Indonesia, we are operate under EDS (Electrical Distribution Systems) Division where we supply Wiring Harness to worldwide OEM. Our location is in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia .

Currently we need the strong System Design Engineer with the following jobs and requirements:

Responsibilities and duties

1.    System Design Development & Implementation

a.    Harness Complexity Creation, Vehicle Feature List Study, Harness Topology

b.    Digital Simulation in CHS Logic (Voltage drop & Fuse Blow test)

c.    Wire Size & Fuse Selection and application

1. System Design in Vehicle level wiring harness packaging

e.    Routing Quality checking for system design

1. Control Prints and other technical documentation

g.    Support design related activities/ built support at Customer location.

1. Ensure correct pilot build up (first piece)
2. Evaluate and perform engineering judgement for Engineering Permit
3. Define the validation plan as customer requirement
4. Maintain and grow customer relations
5. Train technicians
6. Provide design leadership to ensure that all customer deliverables are met, while assuring accuracy and completeness of all design output

2.    Lead, Coordinate & Support on QVC actvities

a.    Design for cost reduction

b.    Design for manufacturing

c.    Propose VAVE ideas to customer design house and follow up till approved

d.    Support component localization

e.    Support supplier optimization

3.    Support New Business Quotation

a.    Prepare related design document to support new project quotation

b.    Work with other department to react on each new project needs and related cost to support new project quotations.

c.    Support RFQ and customers presentations

Basic qualifications

1. Bachelor Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university
2. At least 3 to 5 years experiences in automotive industry, especially in Automotive ECAD Design/CHS Logic.
3. Experience 5+ years using ECAD CHS Logic tool Schematic
4. Experience on schematics design (Knowledge of CAN, LIN, ground, power supply) and specifications-norms.
5. Excellent communication skill – fluent in English both oral and written
6. Strong sense of responsibility and discipline.
7. Having a good personality, leadership and interpersonal skills
8. Excellent in problem solving skills
