PERSOLKELLY Indonesia is currently assisting one of our clients in Trading company in finding great talent as a Supply Chain Officer with the requirement as follows:
 

Working location: North Jakarta
 

Job Responsibility:

• Analyze logistics aspects to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of distributing products to customers in Indonesia
• Evaluate potential local LSPs in Indonesia (shortlist to GC Marketing Solutions Company Limited for selection)
• Regular communication with OM, LSPs, Production Plants and others related functions on service level and improvement action plan.
• Develop logistics service contract
• Plan, manage and coordinate inbound or outbound logistics services, such as customs formality, warehouse, and transport activities to ensure that delivery service is accurate in timely manner and comply with regulations.
• Subcontractor management
• Daily operation management ensuring that all the activities take place smoothly include communicate and report back to Head Office.
• Resolve problems, complaints and insurance related to logistics.
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance.
• Understand key documentation for international trade and Incoterm. (International privileges: Form D)
• To evaluate performance of the 3PL Logistics/Freight Forwarder in term of price, service -quality and time on a 6-month basis.
• Accurately optimizing and utilizing warehouse space.
• Assisting the Manager to manage and lead the business units in implementing logistics service solutions and project management.
• Decision making for daily operation issues. Trouble shooting for different ad hoc logistics issues, exceptional handling, support logistics projects and initiate supply chain solution for continuously improvement.
• Responsible for monthly inventory reconciliation, coordinate annual stock taking and write off inventory, as well as the documentation according to ICS requirement.
• Collaborate with BU(s) to understand business request, customer satisfaction needs, communicate logistics performance and continuously improvement initiatives
• Survey and study alternative route for business expansion in Indonesia

Requirements:

• Min. bachelor’s degree in supply chain management/ Logistics/ Industrial Engineering or any related field
• Have 4-6 years’ experience in Supply Planning, Order Management, Production Planning, Materials Planning & Inventory Control would be advantage
• Experience in managing manufacturing processes, productivity, efficiency measurements, local logistics and improvement projects. 
• Fluent in both spoken and written English
