About the Project:

The first AIM processing facility is targeted to produce 1Mtpa of commercial grade sulphuric acid, with further potential to increase the acid production as new high-pressure acid leach (“HPAL”) plants in Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park (“IMIP”) create further demand for acid which is an input to their production processes.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the operational execution of the procurement, logistical, and warehousing functions at the business units, including the purchasing and onsite warehousing management of all goods and materials, commodities, chemicals, and equipment procured from local and international sources.
• Ensures that the department’s annual business plan and targets for all Supply activities on site are met and that policies, processes, procedures, and contracts are in place to manage all procurement and warehouse matters.
• Develop and maintain supply chain systems including accurate expediting, monitoring, and reporting of all stock levels, supplies, and equipment.
• Ensure procurement, logistics, and warehouse policies, processes, and procedures are maintained and new methods are implemented and monitored.
• Day-to-day management of all procurement and warehouse on-site activities to ensure that goods, materials, chemicals, and equipment are received, stored, and issued in the timeliest, operationally and commercially cost-effective, quality-controlled, and risk-managed manner
• Coordinate with centralized supply chain head office teams to ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and supplies, while optimizing inventory levels and reducing carrying costs.
• Monitor and evaluate supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate solutions.
• Implement and enforce workplace safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Conduct regular safety audits and promote a safety-first culture among team members.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of supply chain personnel, fostering a positive work environment and implementing training programs to enhance staff performance and productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, maintenance, quality assurance, and finance to ensure seamless integration of supply chain processes with overall plant operations.
• Analyze data and generate reports on managing issues in the supply and availability of material, such as order fulfillment rates, inventory accuracy, stock turnover, and cost control.
• Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to supply chain management to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, warehouse, procurement, and contract or a related field. Relevant certifications such as CSCM (Certified Supply Chain Manager) are a plus.
• Proven experience (minimum 15 years) in supply chain management within the petrochemical or similar industry, with demonstrated success in overseeing large-scale operations.
• Strong knowledge of aligning supply chain activities including planning, sourcing, production, and delivery with demand, and supply chain processes.
• Sound understanding of safety guidelines and regulations related to supply chain management.
• Proficient with computer systems and software applications related to inventory management, preferably with experience in using ERP systems. Familiar with Pronto and LWMS systems is a plus.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team and promote a collaborative work environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information to various stakeholders. Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
• Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and drive continuous process improvements.
• Willing to be relocated to Morowali, Central Sulawesi with roster schedule.
