As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be given the opportunity to lead the supply chain team in formulating effective strategies to lead their overall operations in Indonesia.

Our client is a chemical trading company with multiple core businesses that is present in multiple countries across the world. You will use leadership skills to lead the sales support, export & import, warehouse team.

Description

• Oversee a team of export & import, customer service, warehouse manager, regulatory lead and pharmacist.
• Review and provide improvement to work procedures.
• Ensure efficient and effective operation of the warehouse, import/export handling/administration, timely deliveries, proper storage inventory, as well as strict compliance and implementation of Company’s EHS Programs
• Works in liaison with internal teams, such as BI, Sales and S&OP and business partner teams on a daily basis.
• Provide smooth support to sales team such as – on time delivery orders, service requests and invoices.
• Ensure accurate inventory count and proper handling of equipment.
• To ensure readiness of proper tools and accessories must be in place at all times in case of spills, emergency or any other time of need.
• To negotiate freight/forwarding rate and appoint appropriate shipping lines as well as forwarders.

Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field
• Having at least 5 years of leadership experience in at least one of the following functions of Supply Chain: Warehousing, Logistics, and/or Customer Service.
• Well developed communication and problem solving skills.
• Experienced in handling complex and detailed situations.
• Fluent in English
• Having experience in managing Chemicals is a plus
