About the role

PT Interpak Industries Batam is seeking an experienced Supply Chain General Manager to oversee and optimise our end-to-end supply chain operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and innovation across procurement, logistics, and inventory management. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Batam Kota, Riau Islands.

What you’ll be doing

1. Develop and execute strategic supply chain initiatives to support the company’s overall business objectives

2. Manage the procurement, warehousing, and distribution of raw materials, components, and finished goods

3. Oversee inventory control and forecasting to ensure optimal stock levels and minimise wastage

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements

5. Analyse supply chain data and metrics to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational enhancements

6. Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

7. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards

What we’re looking for

1. Minimum 8 years of experience in a senior supply chain management role, preferably in the manufacturing or logistics industry

2. Proven track record of driving operational excellence and implementing innovative supply chain solutions

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions

4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation

5. Proficient in the use of supply chain management software and data analysis tools

6. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field

7. Familiarity with relevant regulations and certifications in the manufacturing industry
