Some of your duties will include:

·       Responsible for ensuring the quality of Electrical and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) installations in accordance with technical standards, regulatory codes, and project specifications. Ensures timely and accurate inspections, testing, and documentation throughout the construction project.

·       To ensure the quality and compliance of Electrical and HVAC installations in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.

·       To oversee inspections, testing, and documentation to deliver reliable and operational systems

·       Supervise daily activities related to Electrical and HVAC installations, including wiring, distribution panels, HVAC equipment, and supporting systems.

·       Coordinate with contractors, workers, and equipment suppliers to ensure the project progresses according to schedule and milestones.

·       Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, installation quality, and compliance with technical standards.

·       Ensure all work aligns with engineering drawings, project specifications, and company standards.

·       Identify and document non-conformities (Non-Conformance) and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

·       Coordinate with relevant departments to support Electrical and HVAC activity requirements.

·       Allocate materials, equipment, and labour efficiently to ensure smooth execution of work.

·       Monitor inventory and submit requisitions for additional materials as needed.

·       Provide technical solutions to resolve Electrical and HVAC installation challenges on-site

·       Develop technical recommendations aligned with project specifications and operational requirements.

·       Ensure all Electrical and HVAC activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.

·       Conduct safety briefings and risk assessments before initiating work.

·       Ensure construction quality aligns with company and regulatory standards.

·       Prepare daily progress reports and maintain documentation related to inspections, testing, and quality of work.

·       Handle documentation and resolution of non-conformity issues.

·       Other duties as assigned.

What skills and experience do you need?

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (HVAC), or equivalent.

Relevant certifications in QC, Electrical Safety, or HVAC are an advantage.

·       Must have had 8 years’ experience in similar role as Inspector Quality Control/ Quality Assurance Electrical & HV AC in the Operations Facilities Maintenance/ Project Development and EPC/ Construction Industry; , particularly in large-scale construction projects.

·       Excellent knowledge of technical codes and standards; Strong understanding of Electrical and HVAC quality standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, ASHRAE);

·       Experience in conducting inspections and audits of construction activities and materials; Experience in reviewing and approving quality control documentation; Experience in identifying and reporting non-conformances and deficiencies; Experience in providing training and support to project team members on quality assurance and quality control processes, procedures, and systems.

·       Experience in testing, inspection, and commissioning of Electrical and HVAC systems; Proficiency in using Electrical & HVAC testing tools such as megger, multimeter, flow meter, and other measurement instruments; Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications; Proficiency in quality control reporting and documentation.

·       Strong leadership, good in communications, team work and work collaborative across departments and stakeholders; Analytical and problem-solving skills; Executes tasks with accuracy, seeks input , and makes sound decisions; Open mindset, empathy, adaptive, proactive and continuous self-improvement; Target oriented, discipline and persistence

·       Have relevant professional certification, such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer or ASQ Certified Quality Auditor; Have knowledge and familiar with application of quality management systems, standards, and regulations, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001; Have a minimum government certification of electrical K3; Hold an operational inspector certificate or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position.

·       Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate; Familiarity with construction project management software and tools

·       Willing to work on-site and in project environments with flexible working hours.
