Chifeng Gold’s Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) operates the Sepon Gold and Copper Opera-tion, located in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR. We are committed to the development of Laos through our production of cooper and gold, whilst striving for business excellence throughout the busi-ness. In 2025, our planned production is 5,703 kg of Gold and 10,010 tonnes of copper.

Reporting to the Senior Superintendent – Site Services, the Supervisor – On Site Transport is responsible for overseeing all on-site transportation operations, including managing a team of drivers who transport company staff to and from designated work locations. This position is crucial for ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely transport of employees while maintaining high service standards. The supervisor – On Site Transport will be responsible for coordinating transportation schedules, managing driver performance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and optimizing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Supervise the daily transportation operations for company staff, ensuring timely and safe transport to and from various work sites .
• Manage and evaluate the performance of the transportation team, including drivers. Provide guidance and support to ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
• Develop and manage transportation schedules to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs of employees. Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in employee shifts, work sites, or transportation needs.
• Ensure that all vehicles are regularly inspected and maintained.
• Oversee safety training for drivers and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate driver performance, providing feedback and addressing any issues related to safety, behavior, or performance.
• Ensure all drivers follow best practices for vehicle maintenance and safety protocols.
• Continuously assess transportation processes and suggest improvements to increase operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records for transportation activities, including schedules, vehicle logs, driver performance, and safety inspections. Prepare periodic reports on transportation performance and any incidents or issues.
• Provide leadership to the transportation team, ensuring high morale and productivity. Conduct regular team meetings and provide training as needed.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation Management, or a related field is required

• At least 5 years of experience in managing transportation operations and service customer, including scheduling, route planning, and fleet management
• Valid Lao driver license (B).
•  A good command of spoken English,
• Good presentation skills, computer skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal.
• Leadership skills and experience in managing large teams.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• An understanding of logistics and on-site transportation operations is crucial.
