The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing electrical maintenance activities within the process plant to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all electrical systems and equipment. This role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising electrical maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The supervisor will lead a team of electricians and work closely with other departments to minimize downtime and optimize plant performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate electrical maintenance activities for process plant equipment and systems.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

• Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in motors, drives, control systems, and power distribution.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, spare parts, and equipment performance.

• Provide technical guidance and training to electrical maintenance personnel.

• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support plant operations and improvement projects.

• Monitor and manage maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions.

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency.

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• Minimum 7-8 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a process plant or industrial environment, with at least 4-5 years in a supervisory role.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, motors, drives, PLCs, and control systems.

• Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

• Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving electrical issues.

Other Requirements:

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA, NFPA, IEC).

• Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies promptly.

• Computer literacy (CMMS, MS Office).
