About us

Who are we? CLC Children Learning Chinese is a specialized Chinese language school that provides Chinese language and cultural education. We are a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate in young children’s education, with a vision to raise a new generation of stars. From curriculum designers and material developers to highly trained and energetic teachers, we take pride in innovation, originality and quality. In combination with our beautifully designed learning spaces, we build a Chinese immersion – based community for young learners aged 3 to 18 years old, to acquire Chinese language naturally through fun activities and programs: Chinese for early learners, Chinese for primary and middle school students, Chinese as a Foreign Language, and HSK level 1 – 6. Our curriculum is designed to meet standards of IPLSE, IGCSE, IB, Singapore schools, and Chinese knowledge requirements of the educational institutions in Taiwan and China.

Qualifications & experience

• Experience working with children in a caregiving or educational setting. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students.
• Ability to engage and connect with children of various ages.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and families.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of students during care hours, including monitoring behavior and resolving conflicts.
• Assist with homework, provide tutoring, and help students develop study skills.
• Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
• Implement positive behavior management strategies to encourage respectful and responsible behavior among students.
• Document attendance, incidents, and any notable changes in student behavior or performance.
• Work closely with teachers, counselors, and other staff to support the holistic development of students. 
• Be prepared to respond to emergencies and administer first aid as needed.
