Primary objective

• To coordinate and support weight control engineering activity and manage interfacing activity for several offices;
• To be a focal point of weight control engineering activity; and
• Responsible for the technical integrity of the weight control engineering and activities of the overall discipline team for the project.

Specific Accountabilities

• Manage assigned work to meet project needs. Proactively work with other team members to ensure Project goals are met;
• Ensure technical integrity of work, consistency of work quality and that all work is carried out in accordance with Worley and Customer requirements, applicable codes and standards, procedures and the basis of design;
• Work proactively with the team to resolve issues related to weight control;
• Accept responsibility for scopes of work and manage delivery and change. Work with Lead Engineers/Designers to resolve the issues related to weight control;
• Able to work on multiple projects of various size and complexity;
• To be innovative in design work with due regard to minimisation of cost whilst maintaining technical integrity;
• To undertake all work within the estimated man hour budget and within schedule;
• To keep all documentation in a state of readiness for Audit purposes;
• To clearly understand the Codes and Standards applicable to the work carried out and raise deviations where necessary;
• Responsible for maintaining work progress (budget, schedule) and raising change documentation where necessary;
• Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Project;
• Sustainability – Responsible and proactively to consider the sustainability goals related to weight control works and following Worley sustainability standard; and
• Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Project. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.

• Bachelor of Engineering (Structural Engineering) or equivalent;
