Job Overview: We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic-minded individual to join our team as a Strategy & Operations Associate in our direct-to-consumer retail company. In this role, you will work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives, improve operational efficiency, and drive business growth. You will be involved in analyzing market trends, evaluating operational performance, and formulating actionable strategies to maximize our company’s competitive advantage.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategy Development: Support the development and execution of the company’s strategic initiatives. Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities, assess market trends, and develop strategic recommendations.

2. Operational Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, marketing, finance, and customer support, to streamline operational processes and drive efficiency. Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational performance and cost-effectiveness.

3. Performance Analysis: Analyze operational and financial performance metrics to identify trends, areas of improvement, and potential risks. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and insights to senior management.

4. Project Management: Lead or support strategic projects and initiatives from conception to implementation. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution within specified timelines and budget.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams to align strategies and operational plans. Work closely with marketing to develop promotional campaigns, with supply chain to optimize inventory management, and with finance to evaluate the financial impact of strategic decisions.

6. Industry Monitoring: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities for our company.

7. Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek ways to improve operational effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance. Foster a culture of innovation and identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field.

• Proven experience in strategy development, business operations, or management consulting, preferably in the retail or consumer goods industry. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and draw insights from complex data sets.

• Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.

• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results within defined timelines.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders at all levels.

• Proficiency in data analysis tools, project management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong business acumen and understanding of retail operations, supply chain, marketing, and finance principles.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

• Self-motivated and proactive with a strong attention to detail and a passion for driving continuous improvement.
