Job description
1. Position Overview

Responsible for managing the entire cycle of new store openings, from site selection to post-opening operations. This includes market research, site evaluation, team building, store launch preparation, and achieving business goals after opening. The role requires strong market insight, team leadership, and cross-department collaboration to ensure the new store meets profitability and brand standards.

2. Core Responsibilities

1. New Store Development & Site Selection

-Conduct market research in target areas based on the company’s expansion strategy (including consumer habits, competitor presence, rental costs, etc.) and produce site analysis and risk assessment reports.

-Negotiate lease terms with real estate agents or shopping mall landlords, sign contracts, and coordinate renovation and construction (e.g., monitor progress and ensure facility acceptance).

2. Team Building & Training

-Participate in candidate selection and interviews in collaboration with HR and lead final interviews and hiring decisions for new store staff.

-Develop training plans for new employees (covering product knowledge, service procedures, and sales techniques) to ensure the team is fully prepared before opening.

3. Store Opening Preparation & Launch

-Coordinate with procurement, branding, and other departments for product display setup and opening campaign execution (e.g., promotions and customer attraction strategies).

-Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new store operations (including inventory control, hygiene standards, and customer service), ensuring compliance and efficiency.

4. Store Operations Management

-Set monthly and quarterly sales targets, assign individual goals, monitor progress, and regularly analyze business data (e.g., customer traffic, slow-moving items).

-Control loss rates and operating costs (e.g., utilities and labor) to optimize profit margins.

-Handle customer complaints and emergencies (e.g., safety incidents or supply chain disruptions) to uphold the brand image.

5. Cross-Department Collaboration

-Work with the Marketing Department to plan regional promotional events, and coordinate with the Finance Department on budget control and revenue reconciliation.

Requirements

Education Background:

-Diploma or above, preferably in Business Management, Marketing, or Retail-related majors.

Work Experience:

-Minimum 2 years of experience in retail or chain store management. Priority given to candidates with successful new store opening experience.

-Familiar with the local market and commercial lease negotiation processes.

Skills Required:

-Market Analysis: Ability to quickly assess commercial potential and competition risk.

-Team Management: Skilled in recruitment, staff motivation, and performance improvement.

-Execution Ability: Capable of handling high-pressure tasks and resolving issues like renovation delays or implementation of new HQ policies.

-Language: Proficient in English.

-Data Analysis: Skilled in using Excel to analyze sales data.
