As a Sterilization Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and effectiveness of sterilisation processes in the life science industry.

Description

As a Sterilization Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the implementation and continuous improvement of sterilization standards and practices
• Serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for sterilization technologies.
• Developing and validating sterilisation processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Monitoring and maintaining sterilisation equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Preparing and reviewing documentation related to sterilisation protocols and procedures.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve sterilisation methods.
• Conducting risk assessments and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
• Providing technical support and training to team members regarding sterilisation processes.

Profile

A successful Sterilization Engineer should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering (Diploma with strong experience may be considered)
• Hands-on experience with sterilization equipment
• Solid understanding of EO and Gamma sterilization technologies
• Familiarity with ISO 11137 and ISO 11135 standards
• Technical knowledge of sterilisation techniques and validation protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
