Job Title: Staff Planning Engineer – Toll Road Company (Makassar)

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Project Planning and Coordination

• Develop and manage detailed project plans for toll road construction or expansion projects, including timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate with other departments (engineering, operations, safety, etc.) to ensure alignment with the overall project goals.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines and project milestones.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals, feasibility studies, and cost estimates.

2. Design and Technical Support

• Collaborate with engineering teams to create designs and technical specifications that align with project requirements and safety standards.
• Provide technical support during the early planning stages, ensuring that all design aspects are feasible and within budget constraints.
• Review design documents and ensure they are in line with project goals, codes, and regulations.

3. Cost Estimation and Budget Control

• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates for construction and maintenance projects.
• Work with project managers to ensure the project stays within budget by tracking costs and recommending cost-saving measures.
• Monitor expenses throughout the project lifecycle and help manage any adjustments to the budget as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in project planning or engineering roles, preferably in road infrastructure or toll road projects.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and adapt to changing project requirements.

Additional Skills:

• Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
• Knowledge of toll road regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
• Experience in preparing and managing project budgets and timelines.
• Ability to work in the field and understand outdoor conditions.
