About the role

We are seeking a dedicated SSL (Land Acquisition) Manager to join our team at PT Everde Global Mineral. This full-time position is a crucial part of our Mining operations, with a focus on the management of our land acquisition activities.

What you’ll be doing

  • Oversee and coordinate the land acquisition process, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations

  • Negotiate with landowners to secure land access and rights, while maintaining positive relationships

  • Manage a team of land agents and support staff, providing guidance and ensuring efficient operations

  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all land-related activities and transactions

  • Collaborate with various internal departments to align land acquisition efforts with the company’s strategic objectives

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks or challenges in the land acquisition process

  • Represent the company in meetings and negotiations with external stakeholders, such as government agencies and community leaders

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in land acquisition or related field within the mining, resources, or energy industry

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders

  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to oversee multiple tasks and deadlines

  • Thorough understanding of land-related laws, regulations, and best practices in the industry

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, with proven experience in managing and developing personnel

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and adept at using relevant land acquisition software and tools

  • Willingness to work in a remote location and adapt to the challenges of the local environment
