We’re hiring a Senior Sales Manager position for our client, a food ingredient company!

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in food or related science with a good working knowledge of food ingredients and how it relates to customer menu development.
• At least +8-years of experience in sales to Food Service & Horeca with proven track record in managing large National Account
• Demonstrated knowledge of the existing Food Service players & brands, as well as strong planning, forecasting, sales and business analysis skills
• Results-oriented with strong analytical skills, able to build strategies and provide innovative customer-focused ideas.
• Fluent in English
• Candidates with a knowledge/having experience of/in the beverage ingredient market are preferred.

Responsibility :

Sales

• Develop & implement strategies to conquer the foodservice segment as a priority: TEA & COFFEE CHAINS, QSR, HORECA etc.
• Map & Visit prospect customers to work on well-defined projects and assure the follow-up on projects. Maintain existing business and develop new business opportunities.
• Give demonstrations with Client’s products to create close relationship with the customers by highlighting our high-quality differentiating product range.
• Support project implementation at the customer site by individual and collective training sessions.
• Demonstrate strong entrepreneurial drive and proactively and collaboratively engage with all departments to execute business plans, resolve issues, and deliver solutions that meet or exceed customer needs and drive profitable growth.
• Trouble shooting at customers to support them in solving issues in their daily production in a timely manner.
• Contribute early in the product development process in close collaboration with the R&D and Marketing department.
• Give technical advice on the product characteristics that need to be considered in the product development process with aim to make the customers’ life easier.

Marketing

• Create recipes with Client’s ingredients and concepts in close collaboration with the marketing and sales team.
• Actively look for customer needs and market trend and translates these into inspirational products.
• Contribute to marketing events in conjunction with Export Sales and Marketing team.
• Stay up to date on new applications, trends and techniques and share with other departments.
