About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Ponseljobs Indonesia’, a dynamic and rapidly growing company, as a Senior Business Development on a contract basis. Based in Jakarta, you will play a crucial role in driving the company’s business development initiatives and identifying new growth opportunities. As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to expand Ponseljobs Indonesia’s client base and revenue streams.

What you’ll be doing

• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with Ponseljobs Indonesia’s strategic objectives

• Develop and execute tailored sales and marketing strategies to attract and convert potential clients

• Maintain and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction

• Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams, such as marketing and operations, to support the implementation of business development initiatives

• Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and industry dynamics to identify new growth areas and opportunities

• Contribute to the development of innovative business models and services to stay ahead of the competition

• Prepare and present compelling business proposals, pitches, and reports to senior stakeholders

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the business development team

What we’re looking for

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development or a similar role, preferably within the sales and marketing industry

• Proven track record of successfully identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to identify and capitalize on market trends and opportunities

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the business

• Familiarity with the sales and marketing landscape in Indonesia, including industry regulations and best practices

• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
