About the role

As a Soft Goods Engineer at PT Mattel Indonesia, you will play a crucial role in the development of innovative soft goods products for our globally renowned toy brands. Based in our North Cikarang, West Java facility, this full-time position will see you collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to bring our product visions to life.

What you’ll be doing

• Optimize production efficiency through cutting methods, control systems, and machine performance analysis.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and smooth operations by maintaining machinery and updating process documentation.
• Lead process improvements, manage line balancing, and provide ongoing support for daily production needs.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in machinery/automation; fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and familiarity with textile manufacturing processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent analytical abilities and engineering knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to be based in Cikarang with a work-from-office (WFO) arrangement.
• Proven proficiency in both spoken and written English.
• Computer literate.
