About the Role

The Social Media/Marketing Content Specialist will be responsible for creating, coordinating, and managing high-quality content for Hejaz’s marketing campaigns and various social media channels.

Working in collaboration with our marketing and business development teams, you will execute content strategy and produce highly engaging content for our marketing campaigns and social media channels.

You will bring creative flair, new ideas and your exceptional communication and coordination skills to take our content quality to the next level. 

Main Responsibilities

·       Creating creative content – from compelling articles and engaging social media posts, to using well-crafted audio and visual content to increase awareness of our company brand.

·       Managing end-to-end delivery of content marketing campaigns and projects from topic research, content development and distribution, and tracking and reporting the effectivity of your output.

·       Leading, managing and coordinating all social media activities, ensuring all social ads, posts, stories, etc are up-to-date and that we remain at the forefront of new trends and practices within this space.

·       Managing key stakeholders, most prominently Instagram and Facebook at a business and account-specific level.

·       Developing content marketing campaign elements including ad and promotional copy, static and motion ad designs, and supporting visual elements. You will work with a team of graphic designers as well as other content and web developers. Big plus if you can write a killer brief.

·       Cultivating our marketing channels and platforms where content is the key driver – express your writing skill and creativity on social media platforms, digital publications, blogs, and email campaigns.

·       Supporting the team to improve SEO, track stats, produce reports, and transform insights into what matters to our team and the customers we serve.

Essential Requirements

·       Tertiary qualifications in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or other related field.

·       At least 3-4 years of experience in content marketing, advertising, brand management, or related field.

·       Experience in digital marketing and producing digital content for social media channels (Google Ad, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Tick Tok, etc.)

·       Exceptional writing and editing skills in English, with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of professional writing.

·       Copywriting experience with the ability to understand the brand’s tone of voice.

·       Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·       Ability to think innovatively, strategically, and creatively to produce and deliver highly engaging content.

·       Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Desirable Experience and Skills

  • Experience in banking and financial services industry highly regarded.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced and medium enterprise environment highly regarded.
