Site Manager
Report to CEO, PM
Subordinate: Site Supervisor, Site Administration, Site Logistic
Collaboration with: Surveyor, Quantity Surveyor & Estimator Team, Site
Manager, HSE, Engineering Team, Procurement

Brief
A site manager works on construction sites and takes responsibility for a
construction project. This duty involves ensuring the completion of projects to the
client’s specifications, on time and without going over budget. Work together with
HSE Team to ensure the safety of construction workers and is usually in charge of
allocating resources to specific tasks.

Responsibilities
● Overseeing the direction of a project, ensuring that teams complete it according
to the projects requirements
● Reviewing progress and meeting with quantity surveyors to keep track of costs
● Supervising and coordinating construction workers
● Finding solutions to problems that occur throughout a project
● Ensure regular safety inspections by HSE Team
● Liaising with other construction professionals, clients and members of the public
● Selecting and ordering the right tools and materials for a job
● Preparing and checking site diagrams, drawings and reports
● Writing up progress reports and other documentation
● Securing permits and licenses for construction projects
● Hiring team members and subcontractors to work on the project
● Preparing budgets and making sure the team uses them effective and efficient
● Overseeing, monitoring, and managing the progress of construction projects
● Ensure the work methods are ready for every construction process.
Skills & Qualifications
● Excellent project management skills, since the job of a construction site manager
requires him or her to complete large-scale projects on time and achieve
construction milestones and deliverable
● Good problem-solving skills, as he or she must tackle and resolve issues that
may arise during the construction process
● Budgeting and/or financial management skills which enable a construction site
manager to ensure that projects remain profitable and that all costs are in
compliance with client budgets
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, since he or she must convey
information to contractors, clients, architects, engineers, and staff
● Several years of professional experience and/or a well-developed portfolio
● A Bachelor’s degree in Civil
● Hold “SKA Ahli Teknik Bangunan Gedung Level min Ahli Madya
