The site GM is in charge of ensuring daily satisfaction of customers’ needs: quality, services; and control the achievement of objectives assigned to the site. They are also in charge of industrializing new products, and to represent the company locally.

Description

Budget & PMT

• Develop budgets and PMTs in accordance with directives received from the Regional Operations Director or Product Line General Manager.
• Establish and execute action plans and corrective measures to achieve approved budgets and PMTs, both within the organization and within the P-30 timeframe.

New Projects / Processes

• In cases where the site serves as a competencecenter:
• Ensure that Process and Quality Engineers create manufacturing processes that will serve as standards.
• Continuously enhance these established standards.
• Guarantee that the industrialization of new products aligns with the industrial standards.
• Oversee seamless launches of new products.
• Ensure timely implementation of product modifications.
• Propose and execute approved ideas for design and process modifications that lead to continuous reductions in material and other product costs.

Quality Systems

• Implement the quality system and promptly address any identified quality issues.

Customer Service & Productivity

• Ensure the site’s logistics system effectively provides the required level of service to customers, in line with SIOP.
• Define and lead activities aimed at continually improving both direct and indirect labor productivity, inventory levels, TRS/TRP, and maintenance costs, while reducing scrap levels.
• Collaborate with clusters, product groups, and regional operations to enhance productivity, benchmarking, and network coordination.
• Develop a comprehensive 5-axis plan for the site, covering safety, employee involvement, constant innovation (particularly in the case of competence centers).

Purchasing

• Ensure compliance with purchasing indicators for both P0 (products in production) and P1 (products in development).

General Management

• Maintain appropriate staffing levels and competence within the framework of health, safety, and the environment (HSE).
• Interface with local customer entities.
• Typically serve as the legal entity’s General Manager.
• Act as the representative of the company in interactions with local authorities.
• Manage labor relations at the site.
• Manage or co-manage site functions in collaboration with Product Groups or Regional Operation staff.
• Oversee the administrative management of all personnel within the legal entity.
• Assume responsibility for site assets.

Profile

• Has held a site General Manager position for an Automotive or Automotive components sector before
• Excellent in manufacturing, supply chain, process engineering, and P&L
• Preferably has worked in MNCs before
• Degree of Engineering
