Site Finance Lead – Jakarta
Position Summary:
The finance leader role supporting the Jakarta, Indonesia manufacturing site will support all Supply/Manufacturing operations at the Jakarta site as well as be a key member of the global Pfizer finance team. This includes the financial activities around controlling and directing plant assets, production performance and procurement results. The candidate would require strong analytical skills supporting analysis of site manufacturing variances and key performance metrics. The responsibility of this department includes implementing global Pfizer policies and procedures, monthly financial results and reports, budget and forecast, as well as developing internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and meet Audit requirements.
The manufacturing site Finance role in Pfizer Global Supply (PGS) operates as a key business partner able to detect/anticipate problems, address efficient solutions, suggesting areas for improvement and supporting PGS Leadership.
Job Responsibilities:
* Ensure all functions of Cost Accounting, Planning and Budgeting, Management Reporting and financial statement reporting are completed in a timely and professional manner and in line with Company’s Policies/Procedures and Statutory requirements.
* Fulfill overall responsibility of PGS Budgets and Forecasts. Partner with Site Leadership team to meet all budgetary goals including CIPs and cost reduction targets.
* Communicate, explain, and share knowledge with Production, Quality Assurance/Control, Engineering, EHS, Warehousing, Planning, and Procurement, regarding trend of costs, deviations of actual expenses from budget for good control and achievement of budgets. Report manufacturing variances and performance metrics with recommendations for efficiency improvement.
* Prepare all requested statuary and local authorities reports.
* Ensure annual standard costs for all materials (Raw, Packaging, Bulk and FG) have been set accurately in SAP ERP system to minimize variances.
* Develop, update, and implement policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and insure the required level of Internal Control.
* Provide decision support to the Site Leadership team using proper financial tools and analysis.
Essential Personal Qualifications:
* Professional or master’s degree in Accounting. Management / Cost Accounting graduates will be preferred
* Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal / relationship management skills, including leadership team level interactions; high performance history of providing clear direction, team alignment, executing priorities and delivering results.
* Fluent in English both speaking and writing, as well as ability to work with US or Pakistan based finance leadership across multiple time zones.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver on process optimization and leading project teams.
* Proven analytical skills with the ability to analyze and assimilate data for critical business decisions in a timely manner.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize/manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a time sensitive environment
* Growth mindset. Ability to navigate in complexity and taking decisions under uncertainty
* Expertise of working of Microsoft Office Applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
Experience:
* 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing finance and experience in leading teams in a multinational company candidate with Pharmaceutical manufacturing finance experience will be preferred.
