Requirements :

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS NEEDED

1. University Graduate from chemical engineering with at least 5 years experience in production management.
2. Good understanding, knowledge and experience in manage the plant operation of chemical plant in particular of the silica / silicate related technologies.
3. Good understanding, knowledge, experience and skill of SSHE management, Human resources management, Production management, Quality management, engineering management, optimisation, budgeting and supply chain.
4. Good inter-personal and communications skills

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Responsible to ensure that plant operation during his duty hours is compliance with SSHE Standard. Encourage his team members on continuous improving SSHE culture.
2. Ensure that plant operational procedures are fully implemented and updated. Proposed the revision if necessary and shared among the shift team leaders in order to anticipate continuous improvement program.
3. Identify the actual and potential problem in the operation plant during his duty hours which related to the quality, process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation even with the people and making appropriate arrangement to speed up correction, corrective action and preventive action.
4. Responsible for general plant management duties on his duty hours. Under the general supervision of the production manager during day time hours and unsupervised at night time.
5. Maintained the plant always operates in the best performance on OEE (availability rate, production rate and quality rate) and initiate the continuous improvement actions.
6. With HRGA manager, ensure any organisation personnel issue are captured and highlighted to management team.
7. Responsible on maintaining the clear communication among shift team leader. Share the weakness point to initiate the improvement.
