Server

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Server to join our team at Pantja an esteemed dining establishment known for its exceptional culinary offerings and impeccable service. The ideal candidate should possess a passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience, exhibit a profound understanding of fine dining etiquette, and excel in providing personalized, attentive service to our discerning clientele.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables, ensuring a positive initial impression.
  • Present menus, answer questions, and make expert recommendations regarding food and beverage selections.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, entering them into the point-of-sale system promptly and accurately.
  • Collaborate closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient order preparation and delivery.
  • Serve meals and beverages in an elegant and gracious manner, adhering to established service standards and fine dining etiquette.
  • Monitor guests’ dining experiences, anticipating needs and promptly addressing any requests or concerns to ensure a seamless and delightful experience.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the restaurant’s menu offerings, including ingredient details, preparation techniques, and wine pairings.
  • Provide exceptional wine and beverage service, including decanting, pouring, and guiding guests through the wine selection process.
  • Uphold impeccable table presentation, ensuring utensils, glassware, and table settings are clean and polished.
  • Handle guest payments and process transactions accurately, including cash, credit cards, and electronic payment methods.
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down the dining area, ensuring a visually appealing and organized environment at all times.
  • Collaborate with fellow team members to maintain a cohesive and efficient workflow, contributing to a positive and professional work atmosphere.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Server in a high-end or fine dining restaurant is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of food, beverages, and fine dining service etiquette.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with a diverse range of guests.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering flawless service experiences.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and handling payment transactions.
  • Adept at working within a team and communicating effectively with colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant’s operating hours.
