We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Workplace Designer to join our dynamic Gretaer group Jakarta team. As a Senior Workplace Designer, you will play a crucial role in leading the design process for a wide range of workplace projects. You will collaborate closely with global team designers and project teams to transform their visions into reality.

SENIOR WORKPLACE DESIGNER

Responsibilities:

1. Lead, inspire & motivate interior design project teams
2. Manage a team of junior/mid level designers to ensure all work produced meets client briefs
3. Mentor all team members to ensure progression and improvement
4. Project manage all design assignments, ensuring all work is produced on time, to budget and to a high standard
5. Collaborate to create & produce space planning, Concept & Schematic Design, Design Development & Construction Design documentation
6. Create & manage budgets & schedules
7. Direct & participate in FF&E selection & specification
8. Provide project-team co-ordination for materials, finishes, specifications required for construction
9. Co-ordinate with consultants, furniture & product vendors & manufacturers to meet project objectives
10. Assist managing client expectations
11. Contribute to Studio activities, initiatives & learning programs
12. Participate in business development & marketing initiatives
13. Time management, project implementation, attend client meetings, and facilitating group meetings
14. Account management

Requirements

• 10+ years’ experience in interior designer role within workplace sectors
• Advanced knowledge of design processes, FF&E, specifications, color & materials
• Fully proficient in AutoCad, Adobe Ps, Ai, Id, SketchUp, Enscape, (bonus if you can operate 3Ds Max/Corona)
• Ability & flexibility to manage projects concurrently & at various stages of development
• Ability to lead, work autonomously and as part of a team
• Ability to communicate design ideation & direction quickly & concisely
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication & relationship management skills
• Excellent presentation and communication skills & attributes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design, Architecture or Industrial Design or related design field
• English proficiency
