Bali.Love is an Australian wedding company based in Bali and now looking for a Senior Wedding Planner as part of our growing company!

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Job Summary: 

As a Senior Wedding Planner, you will take the lead in designing, planning, and executing weddings that exceed client expectations. Your role involves managing all aspects of the wedding planning process, from initial consultations to the final send-off, ensuring every detail is flawlessly executed.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Consultation and Relationship Management:

• Meet with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget for their wedding.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing personalized service and ensuring their needs and expectations are met.

• Offer expert advice on wedding themes, venues, vendors, and overall event design.

2. Event Planning and Coordination:

• Create comprehensive wedding plans, including timelines, budgets, and vendor lists.

• Coordinate all aspects of the wedding, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, photography, floral arrangements, and more.

• Manage the wedding day schedule, ensuring that all events run smoothly and on time.

3. Vendor and Venue Management:

• Develop and maintain relationships with high-quality vendors and venues.

• Negotiate contracts with vendors to ensure the best possible terms for clients.

• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of services and products.

4. Team Leadership:

• Lead a team of wedding planners and assistants, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.

• Delegate tasks effectively and ensure that all team members are aligned with the event plan.

• Oversee the work of planners, junior planners and assistants, ensuring high standards of service and execution.

5. Budget Management:

• Create and manage wedding budgets, ensuring that all expenses are tracked and controlled.

• Provide clients with regular updates on budget status and make adjustments as needed to stay within the financial plan.

6. Problem Solving and Crisis Management:

• Address and resolve any issues that arise during the planning process or on the wedding day.

• Provide quick and effective solutions to unexpected problems, ensuring minimal disruption to the event.

7. Creative Design and Innovation:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in wedding design and planning.

• Develop creative concepts that reflect the client’s vision and enhance the overall wedding experience.

• Customize and innovate wedding details to create unique and memorable events.

8. Post-Wedding Follow-Up:

• Conduct post-event evaluations with clients to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction.

• Manage final billing and payments with vendors.

• Follow up with clients to maintain relationships and encourage referrals.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must be Denpasar, Bali based.

• Must be able to speak & write in English proficient

• Proven experience as a Wedding Planner, with at least 5 years in the industry.

• Strong portfolio of successful weddings and events.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to lead a team and manage multiple weddings simultaneously.

• Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends.

• Proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Certification in wedding planning or event management is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• This role requires flexibility in working hours, including nights, weekends, and long hours during peak wedding season.

• The position involves on-site presence at various venues, requiring travel as needed.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage last-minute changes.
