Job Scope 

• Conduct user research to understand the needs, preferences, and behaviours of students, teachers, and other stakeholders.
• Analyse data and feedback to inform design decisions.
• Develop user personas and user journey maps.
• Create wireframes and prototypes to visualise and iterate on design concepts.
• Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Structure and organize content in a way that enhances the overall user experience.
• Define information architecture and navigation flows for educational platforms.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and content creators.
• Ensure designs align with the company’s brand identity.
• Ensure designs comply with accessibility standards, making educational content accessible to a diverse user base.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices in both UI and UX.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture.
• Actively seek feedback, iterate on designs, and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.

Job Requirement 

• Willing to work in Surabaya Office (Hybrid)
• Proficient in English (speaking and writing) 
• 6+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design
• Proven track record of successfully delivering high-quality design solutions for web and mobile applications, preferably in the edtech sector (not mandatory)
• A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of UI/UX design projects, including wireframes, prototypes, and the final products.
• Demonstrated experience in designing for educational or e-learning platforms is a plus.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or other relevant software.
• Experience with prototyping tools like InVision, Axure, or Proto.io.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate collaboration with development teams.
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and incorporating user feedback into the design process.
• Familiarity with various research methods, such as interviews, surveys, and analytics tools.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and content creators.
