About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technician CNC to join our dynamic team at PT Dynacast Indonesia (Batam). As a fulltime employee based in Batam, Kepulauan Riau, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising our state-of-the-art CNC machinery, ensuring the highest levels of productivity and efficiency.

What you’ll be doing

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to identify and resolve issues promptly

• Calibrate and adjust CNC equipment to maintain optimal performance and product quality

• Implement preventive maintenance programmes to minimise downtime and maximise machine uptime

• Provide technical support and guidance to production operators on the safe and efficient operation of CNC machines

• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement process improvements

• Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities, machine performance, and quality control data

• Assist in the training and development of junior technicians to build a strong, skilled workforce

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience as CNC technician in the industrial manufacturing sector

• Strong technical expertise in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of CNC Milling and Turning machines

• Proven ability to read and interpret technical schematics, manuals, and control system programming

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to quickly identify and resolve equipment issues

• Proficient in the use of precision measuring tools, diagnostic equipment, and CNC programming software

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a focus on continuous improvement

• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with production teams and support staff
